How Is Hair Transplantation Performed?
In practice, hair follicles, usually taken from the nape, are planted in the targeted hairless area. These hair ingrings are called grafts. Infrequently, in some cases, there is not enough healthy hair on the back of the person’s neck or in the pebbly area. In such cases, hair follicles can be obtained from other areas of the person that contain hair, such as arms or chest wall. The application takes place in a few hours depending on the amount of hair loss. If the hairless area is too large, it may take a few sessions to complete the treatment.
Generally, intervention is performed under local anesthesia by sedation. After hair transplantation, a special bandage is applied to the head. The person is discharged after 1-2 hours. Even if it is seen very little, control is provided with painkillers against pain situations. In general, after 3 days of home service, it is possible to return to business life with the head closed. The first dressing is carried out on the 5th day.
